Jämijärvi

Jämijärvi is a small municipality in the Satakunta region of western Finland, best known for the Jämi recreational area built around the local airfield. This site is particularly popular for skydiving, a sport for which the region has dedicated facilities, as well as for outdoor pursuits such as hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing in winter. The surrounding landscape is typical of inland Finland, featuring coniferous forests, lakes and wetlands, providing a peaceful setting well suited to nature-based activities.
