Ikaalinen

Ikaalinen is a small town in south-western Finland, in the Pirkanmaa region, set on the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi. It is best known for its spa resort, one of the largest wellness centres in the country, which draws visitors year-round for its pools, saunas and treatments. The town also retains a long-standing market-town character, with a modest yet lively centre. The surrounding area offers a classically Finnish landscape of dense forests, lakes and numerous summer cottages (mökki), ideal for fishing, hiking and water sports during the warmer months.
