Hage

Hage is a small municipality in Lower Saxony, within the district of Aurich, at the heart of East Frisia (Ostfriesland). This coastal region is characterised by the flat landscapes typical of northern Germany, interspersed with polders, canals and dykes that protect the agricultural land from the nearby North Sea. The village enjoys a convenient location close to Norddeich, the ferry port serving the island of Norderney, one of the East Frisian Islands known for its sandy beaches and dunes.
