Dongo

Dongo is a small town on the western shore of Lake Como, in Lombardy, just a few kilometres from the Swiss border. Its lakeside sets the tone for local life, with a pleasant promenade perfect for a leisurely stroll and open views over the surrounding mountains and the lake itself. The surrounding area is particularly well suited to walking, thanks to a network of paths that follow the shoreline or climb into the wooded hills above, allowing visitors to enjoy the peace and quiet of this less touristy stretch of Lake Como.
