Eraclea Mare

Eraclea Mare is a seaside resort on the Adriatic coast, in the province of Venice, within the Veneto region. It lies between Jesolo and Caorle, near the mouth of the Piave Vecchia river, forming the coastal extension of the municipality of Eraclea. The resort is known for its long, fine sandy beach bordered by pine woodland, offering a quieter and more family-oriented setting than some of the livelier neighbouring resorts. The surrounding natural environment, with its wooded areas and unspoilt coastline, is well suited to cycling, with routes linking the resort to the hinterland and nearby towns. A small marina allows for boating and fishing activities. The area offers a range of accommodation, including campsites, holiday villages and residences, geared towards family summer holidays. Venice itself is within reach, just over an hour away, making it possible to take day trips to explore the historic city and its heritage. Local cuisine draws heavily on Adriatic seafood alongside traditional Venetian dishes. The climate, mild and Mediterranean in character with a maritime Adriatic influence, supports a summer holiday season running from June to September.
