Volparija

Volparija is a small hamlet in the Istrian hinterland of Croatia, close to the town of Buje and the Adriatic coast. This rural area is characterised by rolling hills covered in vineyards, olive groves and woodland, typical of the Istrian landscape. The region is well known for its wine and olive oil production, as well as truffle hunting in the surrounding forests, particularly around Motovun and Buzet. Nearby hilltop villages, with their stone lanes and countryside views, provide a peaceful setting ideal for rural stays. The coast lies around twenty minutes away by car, making it easy to combine countryside living with seaside relaxation near Umag or Savudrija.
