Biscarrosse ville

Biscarrosse is a town in the Landes department, in southwest France's Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, notable for its dual setting between the Atlantic coast and inland lakes. The town has an extensive seafront with several supervised beaches, popular for swimming and surfing, while the Biscarrosse-Parentis lake and the Cazaux-Sanguinet lake offer calmer water activities such as sailing, pedal boating and fishing. The area is criss-crossed by numerous cycle paths winding through the Landes pine forest, linking the town centre to the lakes and the coastline. Biscarrosse also has a notable aviation heritage, particularly linked to seaplanes, with a museum dedicated to this history and to local aeronautics.
