Biscarrosse plage

Biscarrosse Plage is a coastal resort on the Landes shoreline, stretching between the Atlantic Ocean and the extensive Biscarrosse lakes, formed by the Cazaux-Sanguinet and Parentis-Biscarrosse ponds. The ocean-facing beach, lined with restaurants, is ideal for swimming and long walks, while the lakeside area offers a more family-friendly atmosphere with a water park, summer entertainment and open-air cinema screenings. About thirty minutes away, the Dune du Pilat, Europe's tallest sand dune, makes for a not-to-be-missed excursion, particularly at sunset, offering sweeping views over Arcachon Bay and the ocean beyond.
