Sant Lluis

Sant Lluís is a small town in southern Menorca, close to Binibeca and Cala en Porter, offering easy access to some of the island's finest beaches. Boat trips reveal coves such as Cala Mitjana, Cala Macarella and Macarelleta, with their turquoise waters framed by pine trees. Nearby, Cala en Brut and Es Bot add to this unspoilt coastline, while the historic town of Ciutadella, with its harbour and old streets, is well worth a visit. Inland, Monte Toro, Menorca's highest point, provides panoramic views across the island. In the evening, Cova d'en Xoroi, a natural cave turned bar and nightclub overlooking the sea at Cala en Porter, is a popular spot to watch the sunset. For a bite to eat, the Bambu Menorca restaurant in Binibeca serves well-regarded local dishes. Sant Lluís itself retains the charm of traditional Menorcan villages, with its whitewashed houses and old windmill, while remaining a convenient base for exploring the coves and natural sites of southern Menorca.
