Les Contamines Montjoie

Les Contamines-Montjoie is a village in Haute-Savoie, located in the Val Montjoie at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif, just a few kilometres from Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. Known for its authentic character and traditional chalets, the resort offers a family-friendly ski area suited to beginners and intermediate skiers, along with an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails and ski touring routes. The village is also a well-known starting point for the Tour du Mont Blanc, the renowned long-distance hiking trail that passes through the region via the Baroque chapel of Notre-Dame de la Gorge, a historic route towards the Col du Bonhomme. The Contamines-Montjoie nature reserve, home to diverse alpine flora and fauna, draws walkers and nature enthusiasts throughout the summer months.
