Santa Ponsa

Santa Ponsa, on Majorca's south-western coast, is a seaside resort popular for its long sandy beach and family-friendly atmosphere, while remaining close to the lively nightlife of Magaluf. The Santa Ponsa archaeological park offers short walks combining heritage sites with views over the bay. From here, it's easy to explore the island's turquoise coves, such as Cala des Moro, known for its crystal-clear water and small sea cave, best visited early morning before crowds arrive. Palma de Mallorca, with its Gothic cathedral and royal palace, is within easy reach, as are Sóller and its port, accessible via the historic train from the capital, and Valldemossa, a stone village perched in the Tramuntana mountains. Nature lovers can take a catamaran trip to admire the surrounding turquoise waters, or head east to visit the Drach Caves.
